Defining the Visual Foundation for One Home Solution
Role: Lead Designer, Agency Partner at Woodroux Digital Design Studio
Since 2022, I’ve had the privilege of partnering with One Home Solution as their lead designer through my agency. This was truly a zero-to-one product journey. I worked side-by-side with the CEO to take an early idea and turn it into a market-ready service that has since scaled across multiple states in the U.S.
The process was deeply collaborative. Building off the CEO’s vision, I conducted extensive competitive research to better understand the landscape, identify whitespace opportunities, and define what would set One Home apart. It quickly became clear that the company needed more than a brand refresh, they needed a scalable visual and product system that could support growth, resonate with homeowners, and empower their internal teams to communicate with consistency.
I led the creation of that system, developing a unified design language and partnering with my graphic designer to deliver a comprehensive brand and visual style guide. This foundation gave One Home the clarity and confidence to launch, ensuring every touchpoint, from digital experiences to marketing collateral, told a unified story.
As the business has grown, so has the brand. We’ve continued to evolve and rebrand One Home to match its trajectory, updating the design system and visual guidelines in late 2024. That evolution led to a full redesign of the app, prompted by new customer insights: users wanted to be able to book services on their computers, share photos more easily, and sync appointments seamlessly across devices. To meet these needs, we expanded from a mobile-only app to a progressive web app (PWA), giving customers the flexibility to interact from both phone and desktop while keeping the experience cohesive.
What began as an idea is now a fast-growing product with multi-state reach, backed by a brand system and digital platform that have proven flexible enough to scale, adapt, and evolve with the company’s success.
